Gluto is a specialised app designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Celiac disease. It offers a comprehensive suite of features tailored to the needs of those with gluten intolerance, including informative articles, gluten-free recipes, restaurants, a dedicated forum for recommendations and questions and a product scanner for swift gluten detection. This app fosters a supportive community where people with celiac disease can connect and celebrate gluten free.

the challenge
Today, there are Facebook groups and some apps dedicated to specific aspects of celiac needs like finding gluten-free restaurants or recipes. Yet, there's no app that fully meets all the requirements for those living without gluten, which make life without gluten complex and less enjoyable.
The Solution
An all-in-one app designed for celiacs, featuring articles ,restaurants, recipes, a forum for recommendations and questions, a rapid gluten scanner, and a vibrant community to "celebrate gluten free".
ui design
The design drew inspiration from the gluten molecule, which reminded me a lot of confetti. This connected me to the concept of creating a "gluten-free celebration." It's a fun and cheerful design that makes gluten-free living easier and happier. I created an illustrative language based on the confetti, including the logo that also incorporates confetti element.
Interactive Prototype
The interactive prototype demonstrates how users can seamlessly navigate through Gluto’s features from scanning products to discovering new restaurants and engaging with the community. It highlights the intuitive flow, accessibility, and supportive experience the app provides in real-life scenarios.
